rules · the short version
How mycel.lol works
mycel.lol is a launchpad for Solana coins. You launch a coin like on any pad. The difference: its creator fees buy your coin back, and part of them also buys the coins your holders hold.
1 · launching
Launching a coin takes a minute
- Connect your wallet. Phantom, Solflare or Backpack.
- Name it. A name, a ticker, an image. A description and links if you want.
- Sign. Once to prove the wallet is yours, then the launch itself. About 0.012 SOL in network fees, plus your dev buy if you make one.
- It's live. Your coin trades on pump.fun like any other, and joins the network.
2 · creator fees
Where the creator fees go
Every 10 minutes, the fees your coin earned are spent like this:
70%buys your coin back
30%buys the coins your holders also hold
100%of what is bought is burned
The 30% goes mostly to the coins you share the most holders with. If your holders hold no other coin of the pad, your coin keeps 100% of its fees for its own buyback. And it works both ways: other coins send part of their fees to buy yours.
3 · what you can count on
Nobody can touch the fees
- Locked at launch. The launch sends 100% of your coin's creator fees to its own vault and locks that setting forever. Not you, not us, nobody can change it afterwards.
- Real holders only. A wallet counts if it holds at least 0.05% of both coins, for at least an hour. Pools, bonding curves and program accounts never count, and splitting a bag across many wallets gains nothing.
- Everything is public. Every buy and every burn is listed with its transaction on the network page.
4 · words you will see
The vocabulary, in one line each
- epoch
- The 10-minute cycle. Fees are spent once per epoch.
- filament
- The link between two coins that share holders. The more they share, the thicker it is.
- neighbour
- A coin linked to yours by a filament. Your 30% goes to your neighbours.
- vault
- The wallet that receives your coin's creator fees. Only the network spends from it, only to buy and burn.
- burned
- Sent out of existence: the supply goes down for good.
for the curiousThe full technical rules
1 · Filaments
- epoch
- 10 minutes. At each epoch the site reads the holders of every coin launched on the pad.
- weight
- w(A, B) = Σ min(% of A held, % of B held), over every eligible wallet holding both coins. Measured in percent of supply.
- minimum position
- A wallet counts only if it holds at least 0.05% of each of the two coins.
- minimum time
- That position must have been held for at least one hour.
- excluded accounts
- The bonding curve, liquidity pools, pad accounts and program accounts are never counted as holders.
- splitting
- Spreading a position across several wallets never increases a weight: the minimum is taken per wallet, and pieces under 0.05% drop out.
2 · Circulation
- self
- 70% of the fees a coin accrued during the epoch buy that coin back. Those tokens are burned too: nothing bought by the network is ever held.
- network
- 30% are split between its neighbours in proportion to filament weight: neighbour B receives 30% × w(A, B) / Σ w(A, N).
- digestion
- Each neighbour's share buys that neighbour's coin. The tokens bought are burned.
- isolated coin
- A coin with no filament keeps 100% of its fees.
3 · Operation
- launch
- A coin joins the pad with its creator fees routed 100% to its own vault. That first fee-split update locks the split for good on pump.fun: after it, nobody (the creator, the pad) can redirect those fees.
- locked fees
- Checked on-chain at every epoch. A coin whose fees are not locked to its vault is cut from the network: it neither sends nor receives.
- snapshot
- Taken on every 10-minute boundary. Holders are read on-chain; an owner counts only if it is an ordinary wallet (owned by the System Program and on the ed25519 curve). Curves, pools, vaults and every program-derived address are left out, even on a coin nobody has indexed yet.
- one hour
- A wallet is eligible if it held at least 0.05% of the coin in each of the last 7 snapshots (one hour). It counts for its smallest share over that hour, so buying just before a snapshot adds nothing. If a snapshot is missing, nobody is eligible on that coin until a full hour is back.
- collection
- Each epoch, the coin's pending creator fees are moved into its vault. The vault keeps 0.005 SOL for rent and transaction fees; everything above is routed.
- purchase
- One transaction per purchase: buy an exact amount of tokens, burn them, close the token account. All three succeed or none does. The price is capped so that even at 3% slippage the buy cannot spend more than its share.
- dust
- A purchase under 0.001 SOL is not made; those lamports stay in the vault and are routed again next epoch.
- failure
- If a purchase fails, its lamports stay in the vault and are routed next epoch. Nothing is redistributed by hand.
- ledger
- Each epoch publishes the holder snapshot of every coin, its SHA-256 fingerprint, the filaments, and every purchase with its transaction. See network.
